El Instituto de Biología y Genética Molecular (IBGM) es un centro mixto del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) y la Universidad de Valladolid (UVa) con objetivos académicos de docencia e investigación de excelencia en el ámbito de la Biomedicina sito en Valladolid.

Estructura científica del IBGM

Investigación

La actividad científica del IBGM se organiza en torno a tres departamentos o unidades de investigación, que abordan líneas temáticas de investigación propias. Estos departamentos son: Fisiología Celular y Molecular, Inmunidad Innata e Inflamación y Genética Molecular de la Enfermedad. En la actualidad en el IBGM trabajan 100-120 personas, de las cuales 34 son científicos de plantilla (10 del CSIC y 24 de la UVa). El resto del personal está formado por doctores contratados, postdoctorales, estudiantes predoctorales o en formación, y personal de administración y de apoyo a la investigación.
